Reflexiones internacionalistas

I have not written in English for quite a long time. I thought that the current events in Korea could be the best excuse to do so, as it is also a relevant country for me and my interests apart from China, Japan and Tibet. This entry represents a bookmark within all my entries about Korea, as I have focused on different aspects such as trade and its interactions with Japan. I believe that there is no better time to give some continuity to what I wrote in the last chapter of my thesis about North Korea’s foreign policy written during 2012, when Kim Jong-Il died and Kim Jong Un got into power.  This entry addresses the main question surrounding the meeting between President Moon and Kim Jong Un during the last days, its implications and possible outcomes. Hace algunos días me encontré con un par de artículos que exploraban la posibilidad que volviera S.S. Dalai Lama a China, obviamente al Tíbet. Es un tema que pone a pensar muchas cosas y que también se puede ver desde muchos puntos de vista, sin embargo una visita a China podría tener claras ventajas y desventajas. En esta entrada hablaré un poco sobre las posibles implicaciones que podría tener el regreso del Dalai Lama al Tíbet, particularmente con el contexto actual tan particular que tiene China en el ámbito doméstico.  En la primera sección hablaré del liderazgo en China como más agresivo y (contrario a lo que muchos expertos han dicho) vulnerable por lo mismo, ya que concentrar muchas responsabilidades en una sola persona nunca ha sido lo recomendable, en ningún tipo de régimen.
